A Message from the Children's Minister: John Williams
Agape Church provides Children's Ministry so children can learn God's Word in an exciting way. We have an outstanding teaching staff dedicated to excellence in Children's Ministry from birth through the 5th grade to touch your children with the love of God. It is our desire to teach children to "Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." We want to help you, as parents, build a solid spiritual foundation in your children.
Infant through Three-Year-Old Ministry
Your babies are taught God's Word according to their age level through the use of praise and worship, object lessons, memory verses, playtime and more! These classes meet every week on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings and Wednesday evenings in the foyer classrooms of the church.
Four-year-old through Kindergarten Ministry
These age groups are taught the Word of God in very exciting and enthusiastic environments. Our teachers use puppets, drama skits, memory verse, games, object lessons, and praise and worship to help instill Godly principles into their everyday lives. These classes meet every week on Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings in the K4 and K5 classrooms of the Family Life Center.

This service features praise and worship, puppet skits, drama skits, power verses, object lessons, games, first-time visitor recognition, Bible preaching and much more! It is our desire to teach children God's Word and to build them up spiritually in a productive and unique environment. Therefore, our theme is "God's Gym" to help them "Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might."
Kidz Klub (1st - 3rd Grade)

"Merit pins" can be earned after completing each 8-week workshop. Here are a few of the workshop topics: "Kidz in the Gap," "Speak Up," "Invading the Lost World," "Let's Go Surfin'," "Stageworks." Cross Training ball caps and polo shirts are available for purchase in the Coach's Corner!!
Activities
We provide several fun activities for the children periodically such as lock-ins, summer/fall/winter/spring blasts, Summer Jubilee, skate nights, etc.
Powerhouse Kids (Sidewalk Sunday School)
Powerhouse Kids is an outreach of our children's ministry. Every Saturday, we drive our trailer of ministry materials into four different housing projects to help children ages 1st through 5th grades. It is our desire to take a message of hope and encouragement that there is a better way of life than joining a gang, skipping school, taking drugs, drinking alcohol - that Jesus Christ is the answer for hopeless situations. We present this message through the use of puppets, drama, songs, games, music and fun. It is an honor to serve our community in this way. Powerhouse Kids ministers to approximately 200 children per month.
Halloword Family Night
Halloword Family Night has always been our most popular family event of the year. We provide a safe environment for families and their children on the night of Halloween. We have games, crafts, activities, music, fellowship, fun and candy! Halloword is open to the public and we encourage anyone to join us.
Kids' Camps
Age requirement: Minimum - Going into 2nd grade this fall; Maximum - Going into 6th grade this fall.
For over a decade, we have witnessed God touching the lives of countless young people through our summer camps. Words could never express the "impact" camp has on their lives. It provides an informal atmosphere where children can experience the power and presence of God, not only in our morning and evening services but also throughout the daily activities.
Join us for a great time at Kids' Camp! We have been conducting camps for the past 13 years at Jan Kay Ranch in Detroit, Texas. The ranch is located 75 miles northwest of Texarkana, Arkansas (approximately 3 hours from Little Rock, Arkansas).
A few of the activities are: horseback riding, basketball, volleyball, canoeing, kayaks, paddle boats, 18 hole putt putt course, olympic sized pool, GIANT water slide, a ZOO and MORE! We have great morning chapels and anointed evening worship services.
Call the church office and ask for our Children's Minister or email us for donations or camp cost info.
